This Sunday, the palate moves to Chile, a place from which the beer Rothhammer. In advance, I thank my colleague and compatriot Chris for donating such a delicious drink. This beer is brewed in the city of Santiago, the brewery Handwerk Brewers, a newly formed company (2009), and what is available in business profile, it can be assumed that the plant is originally family (Rothhammer is the surname of the two leaders.)
As for drinking, Rothhammer is listed by the manufacturers, a Premium Golden Ale beer that is produced under the Law of Purity, or Reinheitsgebot. Also, ensure that manufacturing, using 4 varieties of imported hops. Rothhammer
beer is a second fermentation in the bottle, why, when serving, you'll notice the turbidity caused by this yeast, which is usual in this type of beverage.
ALCOHOL: 5.5% .
FOAM: White, thick, creamy, prolonged, fruity flavor with a touch bitter.
COLOR: Red copper.
AROMA: moderate intensity, malty, cherry, grape.
TASTE: moderate hop bitterness, caramel, cherry, grape, gasification average.
BODY: Middle .
Aftertaste: Strong, bitter alcoholic who lives on the throat
PERSONAL EVALUATION: The first thing that struck me was that when we expect a lager (as advertised on the bottle and on the page), what who appeared before my eyes was a very different color (this is the first time I experienced that.) However, I went ahead and I was quite surprised with the consistency and taste of foam, very tasty, seemed cappuccino.
Its flavor, also very interesting, very intense in the middle of filling the whole palate, pleasant to taste in a slow and quiet. All this, together under a body that put some resistance to drink. And the final
throat, convenient and enjoyable. It is harassing and invites the following drinks.
In conclusion, a great beer, but the color is not what they say, worth trying again (when you go to Chile or gave me another bottle).
