One day I was talking to Ricardo Plano, who has put much effort in finding out about new breweries in Colombia, and asked him the contacts of these companies to see where you can find their beers. Well Well, yesterday I contacted a person who works in the SAS Colombia Craft Brewery and asked where he could drink his beer, called Tres Marias. That person told me that Joshua and pubs Pub Beer Classic, could be found. With the only information that is counted is the one in this group of Facebook , where Richard Tres Marias specific plan has three styles, in addition to this promotional video found on YouTube . However, I noted yesterday that two of the styles found in the FB group, very different from what I drank (no brown ale or IPA as such.)
The following were my perceptions over 3 Marias, where all beers contain 5% alcohol. BLONDE TRES MARIAS
is an amber lager and transparent tones. Its foam is thin, thin, low retention and bitter taste. The intensity of the aroma is light, which can differentiate smells malty, grassy and a touch of green apple. As for taste, highlights its smooth, with a moderate bitterness, a malty mild with average gasification. Your body is light and soft and bitter aftertaste. BLACK THREE MARIAS
is a typical stout, thick, dense foam, brown and notable coffee flavor. More moderate flavor intensity than the previous where notes are present wood, charcoal and smoke. The taste is what has characterized these beers, bitter, smoky, black coffee and cocoa on a lightweight body. As for taste, is moderate, leaving a smoky sensation that lingers in the throat. RED THREE MARIAS
drink is a dark copper color with a thick foam, of short duration and whose taste is bitter and fruity at once. Aroma notes can be highlighted malta, citrus, green apple, blackberry, with a stronger intensity than the previous two. Its taste is obviously bitter, combined with hints of malt, blackberry and wood. Your body is a bit more noticeable and its aftertaste is moderate, where they witness a bitter having a good time in the throat.
In conclusion, the beers 3 Marías, while not offering anything new, I found a well-crafted drinks, flavored soft, properly balanced and pleasant drink without problems, allowing a good amount before feeling a little drunk.
From this space, we wish the people of Colombia SAS Craft Brewery, a lot of success with the project, which started the right way, but yes, we expect to launch other styles in the near future.
